Arsenal v Brighton Betting Tips [14 May 2023]

Second place Arsenal know that nothing but a home win over seventh placed Brighton will be good enough on Sunday. By the time this game begins, the Gunners could be four points behind leaders Manchester City with both teams having three Premier League games to play. Arsenal will be hoping that Everton can take points off City earlier on Sunday but they have to be prepared for the defending champions to win that game. Arsenal returned to top form last weekend when winning 2-0 at third placed Newcastle United. All they can do is try to win their last three Premier League games and just hope City slip up.  After this match they play Nottingham Forest away and then host Wolves, so two games they should win. The Gunners have won their last two league games and have 16 points from their last six home league games with 21 goals scored.

Brighton and Hove Albion are bidding to make it three wins this season over Arsenal. They beat them at home in the reverse league fixture and won at the Emirates in the Carabao Cup. The Seagulls have to bounce back from the stunnng 5-1 home loss to Everton on Monday. Brighton begin the weekend in seventh place but will be down to eighth if Aston Villa can beat Tottenham on Saturday. After that match is played, Brighton will have three games in hand on Villa and also on Tottenham who are currently two points ahead of them. Including the FA Cup semi-final loss, Brighton have lost four of their last seven games and two of the last three in the Premier League. Arsenal should have seen their confidence boosted with the two recent wins and can get the three points here.
